Glutamine Supplement: Uses, Sources and Dosage

Glutamine is one of the essential amino acids in the body. It is one of the critical parts of our immune system and plays a vital role in our intestinal health. Our body produces Glutamine naturally, and this naturally occurring amino acid is also found in many foods. These serve as a basic unit of proteins. These exist in stereoisomeric forms as L-Glutamine and D-Glutamine. These two forms have a different spatial arrangement. In supplements, they are majorly present as L-Glutamine in our body.
